This is another Syndey creation.  The lovely Leonie organised for a few ladies to come & catch up while I was over.  Andrea , Jenny , Leonie Newman & Lisa came over on Tuesday & the very talented Lisa put together kits for us all to make.  This is what Lisa designed

The other day I showed you some pretty pink trees.  Well this card is made from another kit I found in the cupboard.  It uses the wonderful retired colour (ooo blast now I’ve lost it), ummmmm…………………….oh that’s right Purely Pomegranate. 

Well anyway here’s the card

The original card I made with this kit used colouring on vellum & the effect was lovely & soft & subtle.  Because this is how I had originally created the card I stamped this image onto the vellum & then turned it over so the actual stamped side is against the Whisper White cardstock (I hope this makes sense)

I just LOVE pink, don’t you?!

I was cleaning out the other day & found some kits that I had left over from a workshop a while ago, so I decied to make the cards up, but used different stamps, this is what I came up with

These cards as sooooo pretty & cute.  They are so simple & easy to make, you could make them easy & simple or bling it up with adding some ribbon & brads like I have.

I hope this might have inspired you today.

I told you a litle earlier that I went over to see my lovely friend Leonie.  Well she had Lisa & I busy stamping, stamping, stamping

We created this wonderfully lovely super special Collage card

This is such a lovely card isn’t it.  LEonie is such a talented lady & so generous

I love this collage effect & think I’ll have to give it a go one of these days!!!!!  Once I am confident with how to do it I’ll give you some more details on how to do it or some samples with the technique.  In the mean time go have a look here to see how the technique is done & the effect created.

Well I have some other pics to show you so am going to schedule a few posts as I have a super busy week this week no stamping is going to happen in this house
Lucky I made the most of the time I did have last week, can’t wait to get back into it.

Just a quick post to get another challenge in from over at Helping Hudson, it’s a sketch challenge this time

 I’ve turned the sketch around & changed it a little, but this is what I came up with

Supplies I’ve used are

Cardstock: NOt Quite Nave, Whisper White, Urban Oasis dsp

Ink: NOt Quite Navy, Basic Grey

Stamps: Sanded, Thought & Prayers

Accessories: lge Silver brads, Dauber, Wide OVal punch, Grey Taffeta ribbon

Well the late night was so worth it last night

I woke up this morning to check out the challenges on Helping Hudson I as going to have a go at the sketch challenge & the challenge is actually closed so I scrolled down to check out the winners & guess what…………………..

This card WON!!!! I can’t believe it, so I get to pop this badge on my blog…..how exciting

I”m so stoked!!!! It’s such a boost for the confidence seeing as tho the mojo has been seriously missing in action.

Hi there, I know there is a severe  influx of posts from me lately, but I am trying oh so hard to get back into my stamping & it has happened easily today

I’m soooo pleased with this card. It’s really my sort of card

Well well, you’re back today ….LOL & guess what, today’s card isn’t much better than yesterday’s…..SORRRY !!!! 
I had been looking at the latest Clean & Simple Sketch & thinking that I wanted to join in, even though I knew I was going to be late getting it in…..well I was in the shower & I had the BEST idea….so I went to bed & slept on it…………………
I got up in the morning, the kids off to school & I sat at my table, got out Pacific Point  cardstock (which I don’t like, but I had an idea) I got out Real Red ink (which I don’t use much, but do like), got out some Circle Punches (which I love)  & I thought I can do this…………………………
BUT I COULDN’T!!!!! argh!!!

So I put it all away, & got out some Basic Grey card, Real Red ink & Baja Breeze card…………………..NOPE!!! that wasn’t happening either……………..
Ok coffee might help, make a coffee, oh while I’m hear I may as well finish off breakfast…………toasted cooked, coffee in hand, book in other hand so I sat & read for a little over coffee

I go back to my craft table & think ok I’ll start again, so I got out Choc Chip card, Felt Flowers & hhmmmmmm the juices started flowing…………………
I cut, stuck & stamped & even though I’m not totally impressed with what I’ve come up with I thought I’d show you anyway

So there you have it……….

I’ll try rooly hard to get something up here in the next couple of days that I am proud of……well actually I do have some pics & a little story to tell you so I’ll endeavour to have that up on Monday, stay tuned

Hi there, just a quick post today

Yesterday when I made my Olive Ute card I wanted to try a female version……I had a really hard time coming up with anything & in the end this is what I created

I really really really DON”T like it, but I wanted to show it to you so you can see I do have moments of UGLINESS
