Hi there, I know there is a severe influx of posts from me lately, but I am trying oh so hard to get back into my stamping & it has happened easily today
Here I have a card made for the Stamping 411 Sketch Challenge 164

I’m soooo pleased with this card. It’s really my sort of card

Well well, you’re back today ….LOL & guess what, today’s card isn’t much better than yesterday’s…..SORRRY !!!!
I had been looking at the latest Clean & Simple Sketch & thinking that I wanted to join in, even though I knew I was going to be late getting it in…..well I was in the shower & I had the BEST idea….so I went to bed & slept on it…………………
I got up in the morning, the kids off to school & I sat at my table, got out Pacific Point cardstock (which I don’t like, but I had an idea) I got out Real Red ink (which I don’t use much, but do like), got out some Circle Punches (which I love) & I thought I can do this…………………………
BUT I COULDN’T!!!!! argh!!!
So I put it all away, & got out some Basic Grey card, Real Red ink & Baja Breeze card…………………..NOPE!!! that wasn’t happening either……………..
Ok coffee might help, make a coffee, oh while I’m hear I may as well finish off breakfast…………toasted cooked, coffee in hand, book in other hand so I sat & read for a little over coffee
I go back to my craft table & think ok I’ll start again, so I got out Choc Chip card, Felt Flowers & hhmmmmmm the juices started flowing…………………
I cut, stuck & stamped & even though I’m not totally impressed with what I’ve come up with I thought I’d show you anyway

So there you have it……….
I’ll try rooly hard to get something up here in the next couple of days that I am proud of……well actually I do have some pics & a little story to tell you so I’ll endeavour to have that up on Monday, stay tuned
Till then…………have a wonderful weekend

So this week it is my turn to set a challenge over on ESAD-SU. I have had a really hard time trying to work out exactly what I wanted to do this week, well I knew I wanted to do a sketch & came up with that ok, but then…….to make a sample was another story completely.
But it all come together in the end. So here is the sketch for the challenge

and this is the card I’ve come up with

here’s a close up of the cute butterfly

The second element of the challenge this week is to use the colours
KRAFT
PINK PIROUETTE (or Pretty in Pink)
WHISPER WHITE
I’m really looking forward to seeing what everyone comes up with. If you’d like to join in I’d love to see your card. The challenge is open until midnight Sunday April 25th. I’ll announce a winner on Monday. Add the link to your online gallery or blog to be in with a chance to win a surprise parcel to come in the mail

Till later in the week

Hi, today I am going to show you 2 little albums I made over the weekend.
The lovely Gardenia set a challenge for us on ESAD-SU ( a forum for Australian & New Zealand Stampin’ Up! demonstrators) to make a Circle flip up album, you can find the tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers. I was determined to give it a go & got out a heap of papers, some cardstock & stamps I thought would all go. I sa t down to create, cut out the circles &………………………………..nothing else wanted to happen, things just didn’t seem right. So I sat & hashed a heap of things out before I decided to have a look in the Simply Scrappin Kits I have…….& then it all came together to create this

Now I wasn’t totally happy with it but thought oh it will do…..but I couldn’t finish with that. I HAD to make one I was really happy with & this is what I came up with…………….

With this album I sponged the edges a little & distressed them too. I’m loving how it turned out!!! YAY
I used the Sweet Nothings Simply Scrappin kit & it made it so easy to finish this off. In all honesty I think it took me about 30 minutes in total & then the photo’s…….I must add some more Simply Scrappin Kits to my next order & I think I’ll have to give some cards a go with the leftovers.
So I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday & I’ll be posting a challenge I’m setting for ESAD tomorrow, see you then

Thanks to the wonderful Gardenia, she has inspired me to make some more cards. I was over at Gardenia’s blog a while ago when I saw how much creating she has done recently….. she has been completing some wonderful challenges & I thought I’d follow the links & have a go myself
So this card that I’m showing you today is for the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch challenge 45. Here is the sketch

and here is my take on it

I’m quite pleased with how it turned out & I’ve had this post & card made for about a month, so it is oh so old
Anyway I hope you can find some inspiration over at 2 Sketches for you, it really is a fantastic site
Enjoy your day today & I’ll be back next week with some more cards

Hey hey it’s not Saturday ….LOL!!
Ok, so it’s Sunday evening (for me anyway). I sat & stamped today. I found this sketch in my inbox last week from Stamping 411

and this is the card I came up with

Here is a close up

and here are the 6 in total I made
