Hello there,  Baja Breeze would have to be one of if not my favourite colour.  It goes so well with many many colours.  Today’s project has Baja Breeze combined with Pink Pirouette & Chocolate Chip.

I made this set to send to a friend for her birthday earlier this year.

This is the card & pouch together

For the pouch I used the retired Parisian Breeze Speciality dsp, I just love these papers.
Here’s the pouch

And a picture of the card by itself

All supplies Stampin’ Up!

Thanks for stopping by today.

So this week it is my turn to set a challenge over on ESAD-SU.  I have had a really hard time trying to work out exactly what I wanted to do this week, well I knew I wanted to do a sketch & came up with that ok, but then…….to make a sample was another story completely.

But it all come together in the end.  So here is the sketch for the challenge

Till my next post, have fun

Hi, today I am going to show you 2 little albums I made over the weekend.

The lovely Gardenia set a challenge for us on ESAD-SU ( a forum for Australian & New Zealand Stampin’ Up! demonstrators) to make a Circle flip up album, you can find the tutorial here on Splitcoast Stampers.  I was determined to give it a go & got out a heap of papers, some cardstock & stamps I thought would all go.  I sa t down to create, cut out the circles &………………………………..nothing else wanted to happen, things just didn’t seem right.  So I sat & hashed a heap of things out before I decided to have a look in the Simply Scrappin Kits I have…….& then it all came together to create this

Now I wasn’t totally happy with it but thought oh it will do…..but I couldn’t finish with that. I HAD to make one I was really happy with & this is what I came up with…………….

With this album I sponged the edges a little & distressed them too.  I’m loving how it turned out!!! YAY :D

I used the Sweet Nothings Simply Scrappin kit & it made it so easy to finish this off.  In all honesty I think it took me about 30 minutes in total & then the photo’s…….I must add some more Simply Scrappin Kits to my next order & I think I’ll have to give some cards a go with the leftovers.

So I hope you are having a wonderful Sunday & I’ll be posting a challenge I’m setting for ESAD tomorrow, see you then :)

Today I’m going to show you a card I case-d from page 67 of the main Idea Book & Catalogue.  I love this stamp set & it is so versatile for either boy or girls cards.

Howdy Doody, how are you travelling today?

Have you ever used the Metal Edge Tags Stampin’  Up!  sell?  I love them.  I love the fact that I can simply stamp an image on it, pop a hole at the top, some linen thread through & tie it to some ribbon…..It makes for a lovely embellishment :)
Anyway I have a card here I want to show you that I made using one of these tags

I love the combination of Taken with Teal & Regal Rose.  I coloured the little birdy in with my markers & then stamped directly onto the tag.  Did you know that if you punch a circle out using the 1 3/4″ punch it will fit on the inside of the large Metal Edge Tag??!!!  So if you happen to mess up like I did a couple of times…..you can just stamp again & cover up your mistake :)

Anyway here is a close up of the embossed greeting

How AWESOME is this greeting??  I love it.  I’m so tickled pink I got this set from the Sale-a-bration catty…..

Anyway here’s a recipe

All products Stampin’ Up!

I hope you like my card as much do….I hope it might bring a little ray of sunshine your way :)

I do love to hear what you think of my work, so please leave a comment…..I just love receiving comments :)

Take it easy & till next time…..take care of you!! :)
