Thanks to the wonderful Gardenia, she has inspired me to make some more cards. I was over at Gardenia’s blog a while ago when I saw how much creating she has done recently….. she has been completing some wonderful challenges & I thought I’d follow the links & have a go myself :)
So this card that I’m showing you today is for the 2 Sketches 4 You sketch challenge 45.  Here is the sketch

and here is my take on it

I’m quite pleased with how it turned out & I’ve had this post & card made for about a month, so it is oh so old :P

Anyway I hope you can find some inspiration over at 2 Sketches for you, it really is a fantastic site :)

Enjoy your day today  & I’ll be back next week with some more cards

While we were away earier in the year, I made these baby cards.  I took the Nursery Necessities stamp set determined to use it while we were away, to be honest I didn’t do as much stamping as I had planned because I read wayyyyy toooo much ….lol  (if you can ever read too much??!), but I wasn’t too fussed about it because i was totally revved up to start stamping when I got home.  Anyway here are a couple of cards that are the same with a little difference :)

Here are the two cards together

A closer shot of the Elephant card

And a closer pic of the Boat.

These were so easy to create becuase I started with the boat & then just duplicated it for the Elephant, but also made a couple of simple changes.

These cards could be used for a 1st birthday or any girly birthday at all really.  Don’t you love the combination of Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette & Whisper White….oh so soft & subtle :)

Thanks for calling by & having a look see.  I’ll be back soon with some more stamping creations

At the beginning of the year the kids did their Vacswim lessons.  As usual I made a gift for each of them to give to their teachers.  This is what I made for them & I was so chuffed with how they turned out

This is what the finished product looked like.  I love the little sweet treat cup on the top & it has some dazzling diamonds in it with the butterfly

Here’s the card i made

Here’s what was inside the box…..Rocky Road (yummo!) :)

I just chopped some up & popped it into one of Stampin’ Up’s cello bags & then it fit perfectly into the box

Here’s a close-up of the Sweet Treat cup

I really do need to get my sweet treat cups out again…..must add that to the never ending list of things to do & try ;)

Take care of you & see you next time :D

Hey hey it’s not Saturday ….LOL!! :)

Ok, so it’s Sunday evening (for me anyway).  I sat & stamped today.  I found this sketch in my inbox last week from Stamping 411

and this is the card I came up with

Here is a close up

and here are the 6 in total I made

All products Stampin’ Up!

Stamps:  Sanded, Thoughts & Prayers, Occasional Greetings

Cardstock:  Choc Chip, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White

Ink:  Choc Chip, Pretty in Pink

Accessories:  Smal oval punch, 5/16″ neutrals brads, Pretty in Pink striped grosgrain ribbon, Dimensionals, Hemp Twine

I’m really pleased with how these turned out.  I am doing some paperwork tomorrow morning, but I can guarantee you I’ll be looking for some more sketches tomorrow afternoon so I can get back into the swing of stamping…….I’m feelin the love again :D

Till tomorrow…..(there’s a scheduled post)…keep smiling :D :D

2 posts in one day, oh my!!!!….well actually to be honest with you I have scheduled some posts for the next few days, so there is more stamping coming your way :)

Anyway I am actually feeling very thankful for the wonderful blog followers I have.  I don’t get to many comments on here, but I have had a few e-mails asking if everything is ok because I haven’t been on here in ages….so I thought I’d pop some blog candy on here.  I have quite a few retired things I am offering up for blog candy….so all you have to do is leave a comment on this post before March 20th & you will go into the draw to win this collection of Stampin’  Up!  goodies :)

In it is some dsp, a 6×6 desk calendar, some scallop notes & envelopes, Infinite Goodness stamp set, some chipboard, labels & book kits (from previous catty’s).  This blog candy is open to Australian residents only.

I’d love to hear from you, so pop your comment down & I’ll draw the winner next weekend!!  Good luck :D

I’m going to start off by apologising for being away from here for oh sooooooooo long :(

I won’t go into details but I’ll just say that taking on another roll in the family farm is taking ALOT more of my time than I ever anticipated,  I don’t think it will decrease much, but I just need to learn to fit more into a day…..can that ever happen?? lol :P

Ok so back to the real reason I am here…… (this is a post that has been sitting here on my blog in draft mode since the end of January) :(

Have you seen the stamp set Razzle Dazzle from the Summer Mini?  I saw it  & thought (as I have many times……) I just HAVE TO HAVE THAT SET. So I bought it & then it sat for a little while, because I was super busy with other things (not stamping related).  But I finally got to mounting & inking it up & boy oh boy I JUST LOVE IT….this is one I oh so hope it gets into the main Idea Book & Catty later in the year.  Anyway  today I’m going to show you 3 cards I made, pretty much the same, just the ribbon is different

Here is the first one

This one is using Pretty in Pink Taffeta Ribbon (just something else I lurve from SU) :)

The second one uses Basic grey Taffeta Ribbon

& finally the third is using Riding Hood Red Taffeta Ribbon

Personally I prefer the Pretty In Pink ribbon, but I do like the way they all turned out.

The sketch for this originally came from Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge, but I was oh wayyyyy too late to get it in, thought I’d use the sketch anyway cause it pretty kewl :)

Anyway back to giving you some recipes :)

All supplies Stampin’ Up!

Stamp Set: Razzle Dazzle, Tres Chic, Baroque Motifs

Ink:  Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette

Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red,  Pink Pirouette, Whisper White, Basic Grey
