Today I’m showing you yet another wonderful creation from my secret sister Kym Byrne.  This is the last card Kym sent to me before she revealed herself.
September card 2 from secret sister

Kym has created this very purty card using the “chalkboard” technique. I love this simple & effective technique :)

The colorus Kym has used are Whisper White, Basic Black & Regal Rose & they go so well together don’t they?!   & I just love the effect of the Chalkboard technique.  The stamp set is Inspired by Nature & Kym has stamped & coloured it first onto the Basic Black, then stamped, coloured & cut out the flower bloom & raised it with some Stampin’ Dimensionals.

Being part of this Secret Sister Stampin Swap has been truly AWESOME & I’m so looking forward to this next round.  It is so nice to receive HAPPY MAIL & so nice to be able to make something special to send to someone special.

So that is the end of it from Kym,  I have signed up for the second round of SS & I’d love to show you what I have made to send, but it will have to wait until the end of December when the reveal will be for this round.

Take care of you & have a wonderful day.

Till next time…….keep smiling :)

Hey ho,  how are you going today?  If I have organised this properly it should be Tuesday 27th October & today we have our farm adviser coming to go through some things, so I am not here writing this, I actually organised it on Tuesday last week (sneaky I know :P
Yes, again today I have a card to show you that I received last month & thought I had posted it here, but after surfing through  my blog, I couldn’t find it, oops :P

Here is a lovely lovely card my lovely lovely secret sister sent me as one of the final cards before the big reveal.

September card 1 from secret sister

I love this card, I have tried to case & change it a little buit just can’t get it to happen, so I might just have to bight the bullet & case it properly without any changes :)

Kym has used a Whisper Wite card base & then added a strip of the Holiday Treasure dsp.  Stamps used are Pocket Silhouettes & Dreams du Jour & then it is wrapped in gorgeous 1″ Rose Red Double stitched grosgrain ribbon.

I am really getting so many things in the mail lately & I want them all on display but I am running out of room :(
But I am going to have to take some down :( :(

More surprises tomorrow, so till then, you know the saying…..
Keep smiling :)

I know I know I said I wouldn’t be back for a little while, but……..I was wasting some time on hubby’s computer the other day & I found these pics that I had taken but not posted, bad me *slap on the wrist* :(

A while ago I went to collect the mail & there was one of those cards to say you have a parcel……& yes you have heard it all before, I wasn’t expecting anything, so……..what could it be?  *yes I’m giggling by now* lol.  In I go to the post office & I can’t wait, like usual I open it up right there infront of the post office ladies & go “***WOW***, DOUBLE WOW, TRIPLE WOW I got a special parcel from a special someone just for doing what I love doing & being me…….GOTTA LUV THAT” :)

A super wonderful lady named Christie Wallace wanted to say thankyou for all the bits & pieces I do on our Demonstrator yahoo forum ESAD-SU. Isn’t she just too sweet, THANKS CHRISTIE :)

I didn’t take a pic of it all together & now I’m kicking myself, but here is a picture of the card Christie made

Rak card from Christie Wallace

the base card is Pumpkin Pie & the other pieces on it are Whisper White & Apricot Appeal (I think).  The stamp set used is Embrace Life & Short & Sweet.  Christie has water coloured the main flower image & then stamped another, coloured, cut it out & then raised it on dimensionals, the bottom edge has a scallop edge on it too.  Now in this package there was also
Rak from Christie Wallace gift cards

This super sweet package of Love Notes.  Christie has made these using the stamp set out of the Spring Mini catalogue called Tree Trimmings (anothe set I don’t have.  I was very conservative on what I bought out of the Spring Mini this year, but I really am starting to think there are some things in there that I just HAVE TO HAVE).  On the baubles Christie has added some Dazzling Diamonds (yes some lovely BLING *smile*) & the cellophane bag has some stamping on it with the Staz On White in k (another out of the Spring Mini & I just had to have it, so it is on it’s way to my house…lol), this stamping just makes the bag that bit moe special.
but wait there’s more…….
Rak from Christie WallaceHow awesome is this package, some Christmas Gift tags in a pouch.   Stamp sets used are Snow Swirled &  A  Holly Jolly Christmas (on it’s way to my house…yay!), this is such a wonderful Christmas gift idea, I’m going to be making a swag of these to give away this year :)

I really want to say a HUGE THANK YOU to Christie, she really made my day when I received these & yes they are on my desk so I can see them & be reminded of all the special friends I have in my life, all friends I have met through Stampin’  Up! :D :D :D

I have some more treats for you tomorrow so come back & have another squiz at more things I have received in the post.

Take care of you & keep smiling :)

Hiya I hope you are having a wonderful wonderful day.  The weather has been a bit different here lately, I can’t believe last Friday & Saturday it can be 40 degrees celcius & then Monday it is about 30degrees, I mean that is just crazy isn’t it.  Will see what the rest of the week brings.

Today I am going to show you a card I made last week.  I was going through some of my left over kits from workshops & found a bag of these ones, so I thought why not make them up so I can use them for my “Birthday Fairy” cards.  I have also sent a couple of them to some friends who love to use purple much more than I do :P

So here it is

Great friend on purple

Now this is a very rare occassion, I just don’t use purple, I find it so hard to work with purple…..

All sppplies Stampin’ Up!

Stamp Set:  Great Friend

So this was supposed to be Monday’s post but I have changed it to post on Tuesday, I should have gone to bed when I thought I was tired on Sunday, lol, must make a mental note of that for next time…..heheheh ;P

I posted a little while ago a couple of pics of some things I sent to my swap sister in the USA, well here are the 2 lovely & wonderful cards I received in the mail

Sister swap from Wendy Young

Sister swap from Wendy Young card

These cards are just gorgeous & I am so lucky to have them in my collection :)

Thanks so much Wendy for making these lovely lovely cards & sending them to me.

Unfortuntately Wendy doesn’t have a blog so I can’t head to over her way to see more of her wonderful creations, but hopefully we are going to be able to keep swapping, so I will be posting more of Wendy’s wonderful work.

Have a super day & keep smiling :D

TanyaBlogSig

OOPS I meant to change the date on this to post on Tuesday, but oops I forgot…lol. Not to worry. Have a great MONDAY!!!! :)

Hey hey HAPPY TUESDAY,  I hope you are having a super sweet day today :)

I am a member of a wonderful forum for Stampin’ Up! demonstrators called ESAD-SU.  On this forum I am the “birthday fairy”  & I make announcements when it is a members birthday, I have also taken it on board to send a birthday card to each & every member on the forum.  So each month I sit down & make up a swag of cards to send out to everyone.  Some times I make several of the same & other times I make all individual card.

Anyway this is one of the cards I have made recently

Echoes of Kindness meets Riding Hood Red& I have just realised it has been a little while since I have given you a recipe for my card so here we go :P

All product Stampin’ Up!

Stamps:  Tres Chic, Echoes of Kindness, Sweet little Sentiments

Ink: Staz On Jet Black, Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette

Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, Whisper White

Accessories:  Cutter kit (distresser), Paper Piercer & mat pack, Fire Rhinestone Circle brads, Stampin’ sponges, Aqua Painter

I reallyreally love this colour combo together, but then again i really really am such a HUGE sucker for pink & I just can’t believe  how well this Pink Pirouette & Riding Hood Red go together & then there’s Kiwi  Kiss, well it just goes so so well together.  If you can’t tell I’m luvin’ it…lol :P

So now that I am catching up a little & the kids are at school & I am stamping, I’m afraid to tell you that the “OLD” Tanya is back, only better…..LOL.  I have been having a little trouble putting everything together & keeping it together & I have finally gotten to a place where it is all happening.  The house is being cleaned, the cooking is happening, the bookwork is up to date & happening regularly & now I am STAMPING!!!!!!! YAY……..  It may seem trivial but it FEELS SOOOOO GOOD to haivng things happening like they should,  I really thought it was just a dream, but now I know it can happen & I am going to try so hard to keep it going.

So before I get way behind (lol), I am going to head off & do some more stamping.  Only 2 sleep still I am heading off to Perth……YAY!!!!!!!

TanyaBlogSig

Hello there, I hope you have had a wonderful weekend.  We have just had a pretty normal one.  On Saturday I prepped for a workshop that I ran in Mullewa today.  The weather has come in really hot lately & we were lucky enough to have an air conditioner fitted recently so it is bliss in our house in the heat :)

I am sorry I have been away for so long.  The kids had school holidays & I really didn’t have alot of time to stamp, between holidays, swimming lessons & just life in general it has been a little crazy.  But now the kids have been back for a week & I have had some wonderful stamping time, it has been BLISS :D

Ok so now to the real reason why I am here & the explanation to the title.  A very good & special friend of mine had a birthday a little while ago & I hadn’t made a card let alone a present to send to her, so this last week I sat & made this box to send to her……….

Birthday Box

This is the front of the box.

In the bottom drawer I made a little pouch to pop some coffee sachets into

Birthday Box coffee pouch

Then on the inside there is this little pouchy/pursey thingy….lol

Birthday Box note card pouch

and inside this is…….

Birthday Box note card pouch inside

and this is a close-up of the note card

Birthday Box note card

and then there is this too

Birthday Box choc pouches

these have some chocies in them & finally here is the card I made to match with the box

Birthday Box card

This whole package took me a whole day to put together, I had something in mind & then one idea didn’t work so I tried another & another till I got it to all match & go.  I really was very proud of how it all ended up.

I hope my friend likes the surprise she will have in the mail soon.

So I am off now to go organise some more posts to pop up over the next week.
I have a few busy days coming up.  I am off to Perth on Friday  night then home again on Saturday arvo & I am joining in with another lady to host a fundraiser for some families in Geraldton, which I am doing some workshops so it is busy busy busy……but I do love being busy :)

Keep an eye out over the next few days for some of the cards I have been creating lately.

Have a wonderful Monday……….see you again soon

TanyaBlogSig

Hello world :)

so today is the day I tell you all who the wonderful lady was that spoilt me over the last 3 months.  She is the incredibly talented Kym Byrne.  Kym’s blog is just new so she doesn’t have any projects up yet, but keep an eye out because her work is AWESOME!!!!

So this round of secret sister has finished & the new one has started which I have signed up for again & am looking forward to get stamping & creating to make some things for my sister :)

Ok so September was the reveal & larger gift month.  I was blown away when I went to collect the mail & found this HUGE box with flowers stamped all over it & no sorry I didn’t get a pic of the box because I was so excited about opening it up & having a squizzy inside.

September gift from Kym Byrne tin

This is the first parcel I opened up.  This is gorgeous pink smiggle tin & Kym made a wonderful belly-band to go around it & you should see what was in it!!!!!! :D

So this is a close up of what was in the box.  A stunning card, lovely gratitude journal (which I have been working towards organising one for myself, but just hasn’t gotten there yet) , some lovely pink spatula’s, stapler, pen/pencil, some love notes in a smaller tin with lovely pink ribbon tied around it, a super super cute pink & choc chip cup cake tea towel, some top note die cuts, 2 blocks of chocolate all wrapped up in some more lovely pink & brown dsp,  body glitter & a coffee or cake cup (which had the ingredients & recipe for a choc cake in a cup which you made & pop in the microwave, cook & then devour out of the cup).  So as you can see I was so super super spoilt.  Thanks sooooooo much Kym & everything was pink, gotta love that :D

Here is a close up of the coffee/cake cup with some lovely rub-ons on

another wonderful card,  some gorgeous ribbon,  tic tacs, brads, freddos & pencils for the kids & some lovely handcream & lip balm.  Words just can’t say how blessed I feel to have had Kym as my secret sister & how SPOILT I feel.  It is just the most AWESOMEST feeling :D :D :D
