Hiya,  I hope you are having a wonderful Thrusday ;)

I just thought I’d pop on here & let you know that I am going to be missing in action for a little while.  My two youngest children have been down & out with a really bad flu & I have had no time at all to do any stamping, but I’m not stressed because I love spending special time with them & when they are sick it is always special time.

It is rather funny because on Sunday night Maddison came up to me & said…….” You know mum, when you are sick, sometimes people are really nice to you”

& I thought she really is feeling special so I said  “has everyone been nice to you?”

& the little darling that she is answered “Yes, everyone being nice to me”

Maddison is the one child in our house that can argue with everyone, she is very determined & strong willed & stuborn, but that is what makes her really special too.    So for her to notice that everyone was trying to be nice to her is so lovely  :D

Anyway……..I have not only not had a chance to stamp, but I have been trying to catch up on some housework etc.,…. before we go away for a few days.  So the only things happening in this house lately are those of organisation, preparation & depseration :D

So I am not anticipating coming back on here till about the end of the month.  In which time I will have had plenty of time to catch up after being away, stamp & take pics of all the lovely cards I have received in the mail recently (thanks ladies *vbg* ).  I am sorry for those of you who visit regularly, but I want you all to know that I haven’t forgotten about you & that everything is alright, I’ve just got family priorities :)

Till next time…….. (& there will be lots coming believe me) keep smiling

Hello & a good Monday morning to you :)

I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.  It was very quiet & quite uneventful for us.  Saturday we had a bit of a clean up around the house & Sunday I had a workshop in Mullewa so Robby had the kids for the whole day :)

We are heading off to Perth on Friday so we can take the kids to see The Horseman from Snowy River.   I am really looking forward to taking them as we don’t do too much with them when we go to Perth so this will be a HUGE treat ;)

So yesterday I said I had something to show you………..A loyal & very encouraging blog follower  of mine named Lynda  sent me some pics of a card purse she made & I thought I’d share them with you all here.  I love the card purse & cards Lynda has made,  they are using some colours I don’t dare touch but they do look lovely.  So here is what Lynda made :)

Card 1 for purse by Lynda

Card 2 for purse by Lynda

Card 3 for purse by Lynda

The greeting on the purse is from Echoes of Kindness & the purse is made of Mellow Moss cardstock (both from Stampin’Up!) all other products in the purse are not Stampin’ Up!.

On the cards the stamp set In the Spotlight has been used (last years’ hostess stamp set) & the colours are Bashful Blue, Pink Pirouette,  Almost Amethyst & some Whipser White.  The ribbons are not Stmapin’ Up!

I really do love what Lynda has come up with here & THANK YOU  Lynda for sharing your creation with me :)

Ok so now I have to dash & go catch up on the ironing & do some stamping, so till next time………….stay happy :D

Happy Sunday to you all :)

Earlier in the week I went to collect the mail & surprise surprise there was a lovely parcel there waiting for me. I should have waited so I could take a pic of it all wrapped up nicely but to tell you the truth I couldn’t wait so I opened it then & there.   I was so lucky because in it was a Stampin’ Around wheel I had on my wishlist (Funky Forest, which will go oh so nicely with my Trendy Trees stamp set), a shopping list, a punch sampler & a gorgeous card.  Anyway here is a pic

ss to me prezzie July It was even wrapped in stamped pink  tissue paper, (I love pink)  ;)

I am really looking forward to finding out who my secret sister is so I can thank her properly for all these lovely things she is sending me.

Well this is a quick post, but I will have something up for you to have a look at tomorrow & I am out today & Monday so hopefully I will have a chance to stamp on Tuesday.

Till tomorrow……………….keep smiling :D

Howdy

Today I am going to show you a little gift I made for each of the ladies who helped me run the Cyberstamp & I feel like I am talking about this lots, but it  really was a big weekend & I did stamp alot & I am so chufed with how everything worked out, don’t you just love it when that happens :)

I wanted to make something little & cute to sendto these precious ladies & as I said yesterday I have done some online shopping recently ( & I’m going back for more….lol).  I got the coffee bags I was telling you about & also some of the cutest little tins.  With these ones they have a hinge on them & I have just covered them with some dsp & then filled with ribbon & chocolates.  I made a belly band to go around the middle & a sweet little tag to go onto that.  So here is what they looked like on the outside

helpers prezzie outside

The papers I have used are from the Bella Rose dsp pack & the ribbon is Pink Pirouette.  I stamped the Thank you from Cute & Curly stamp set in Riding Hood Red onto Pink Pirouette & then punched it out using the Curly Label Punch, I have tied this on using some crochet thread (I love using this)

Ok so now for the inside

helpers prezzie inside I have just rolled up a little ribbon & added some yummy chocolate.  These turned out so sweet & the ladies all loved them to bits. Oooo makes me all warm & gooey on the inside knowing they smiled when they open their mailbox :)

Ok so I am now off to do some more farm paperwork & I will be all caught up really soon so then I will be able to get back to stamping….YIPPEE

Till next time…………….keep smiling :)

OH & I TOLD YOU THE OTHER DAY THAT IF I FOUND OUT LISA’S BLOG ADDY I WOULD POST IT.  IF YOU CLICK HERE IT SHOULD TAKE YOU THERE

Hiya, I hope you are having a superb day today. I am actually in Geraldton today catching up with a friend, having coffee & shopping…….what a wonderful day it will be.  I am cheating a little & have organised this post last night to pop up while I am out :)

I have been meaning to show you the rest of the projects from the Cyberstamp the other weekend.  I still have a few things to show off & seeing as though at the moment I am not getting a chance to stamp I thought I’d pop these one.

On Sunday morning Leonie (the precious little blossompop) set us a 3D challenge.  I was really looking forward to what she had planned & boy oh boy she lived up to her reputation.  The darling lady wrote a whole tutorial for us on how to make these gorgeous bags

Leonie's 3D Challenge Leonie said you can use the bags from Macdonalds but I didn’t have one & with the closest Macca’s an hour away I wasn’t about to drive there to get one…lol  Recently I have done some online shopping & bought some coffee bags & they are just gorgeous & I thought that if I used one of those it would work out ok & guess what…..it did :)

Leonie made her bag for smaller cards but I thought I might cut mine a little bigger & then regular sized cards could fit in it.  The papers I have used are  my favourite Holiday Treasures.  The stamp set on the bag is a fantastic hostess set called Best Yet, I have stamped this in Riding Hood Red & punched it out using the 1 3/8″ circle punch & then mounted it onto a Choc Chip Scallop.  You can’t see it in the pic but I have added some Old Olive ribbon to the top for a handle & then a velcro dot to keep it closed.

The card is made using Riding Hood Red, Pink Pirouette, Old Olive & Whisper White.  The stamp sets used are Baroque Motifs & Live like you Mean it (another wonderful hostess set) which I have used markers on to colour directly onto the rubber.

I am really please with how these turned out & I definitely think they will be on the “to do  lits”  for quick easy pressies.  So super easy :)

Ok well that is all I have for you today but I will be back tomorrow with a pic of some gifts I made for the ladies who helped with the challenges for the Cyberstamp.

Have a wonderul day, I know I am going to :D

Till next time……………..keep smiling :)
