Whoop whoop,  another post so soon……ROFLOL :P

Well I am cheating with this one because I have scheduled it to appear.  I am flat out trying to sort the paperwork for the farm atm so I have not stamped in a couple of days, but mind you I did that much over the weekend that I think I needed a rest anyway….lol

Another wonderful challenge set over the weekend was by a lovely lady named Lisa Ryder (I’m not sure if she has a blog but will find out & link it if she does )  Lisa chose to set a colour challenge & believe me when I saw the colours I thought…..gee they will be a real challenge.   You see the colours are Riding Hood Red, Bordering Blue, More Mustard & Naturals Ivory…….oh my what a combination.

So when I saw these colours together the first thing I thought was……man, it must be a male card becasue these colours are just NOT PRETTY (iykwim) then the next thing I thought was…..OOOOOO Rooster I could use my Rooster & I love my Rooster :D

It took me a while to get the layout right but I am really please with how this card turned out……..

Saturday Colour Challenge

All supplies Stampin’ Up!

Stamp Set:  Rustic Rooster & Great Friend (coming August 1st), Sanded

Ink:  Riding Hood Red, More Mustard

Marker:  Bordering Blue

Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red, Bordering Blue, Moer Mustard, Naturals Ivory

Accessories:  Jumbo Eyelet,  Distressing tool from the cutter kit, Hemp Twine, brad, Wide, large & small oval punches .

I love e effect of the weathering of the edges but I feel like I do that with alot of my cards, I think it has to do with the fact of not being able to cut straight or lay the card straight…..LOL

Well I have to dash now , go to pick up the kids from school & do the sport activities. so I will chat with you again soon.

Till then……………..smile your little dial off :D

Heyde Ho there friends & neighbours :)

I hope you are having a super splendid time lately.  I have been flat chat catching up on being mum, wife & book keeper after a very busy weekend Cyberstamping.  I had such a ball over the weekend & created more than I have in a while which is sooooo nice.

One of the challenges set over the weekend was to make a card using new ribbon & old brads.  Jenny Adams set this challenge & came up with a super duper card of her own.  I was quite excited about doing this challenge because I just love the new ribbon that is coming out in the Mini catty August 1st.  This is the card I came up with

Card Embellishment Challenge

The stamp set i have used is called Friends 24-7 & it is just gorgeous.  I have stamped the flower image in Choc Chip  & then coloured it with my markers.  I have also used the Weathered background stamp & a greeting from On your Birthday.

The cardstock I have used is:  Riding Hood Red as a base with Close to Cocoa , Choc Chip & Very Vanilla.

The brads I have used (for the first time….yippee) are the Fire Rhinestone Square Brads & I feel they add that extra wow bling to the card to lift it.

& finally the yummy-est ribbon yet….*vbg*  This ribbon is 1 1/4″ wide & comes in a roll of about 9m.  I love love love love this ribbon & I order lots of it because I just know it is going to be on ALOT of projects (lol) :D

I am so chuffed with how this card turned out,  I am thinking there might be a few more copied so I can send some out to friends :)

I hope you like my card & I do hope you will be back soon because I promise you I have more projects to show you.

Till then……..keep that smile on your face :D

Hi there

So the next challenge was set by the very talented & wonderful Christine Healey.  This was a sketch challenge & Christine did a wonderful job at creating the sketch for us.

This is the sketch that Chrstine came up with

FridayCardSketch - by Christine Healey

and this is the card I created from the sketch

Friday sketch challenge With this card I have again used a lovely set that is coming out in the new mini which is released on August 1st.  i have also included some papers from the mini.  The colours I used are Basic Grey,  Whisper White, Baja Breeze & Pink Pirouette.  I have added a little Whisper White Satin ribbon & Clear Rhinestone brads just to bling it up a little.  I am really pleased with how this card turned out.  I think I may have to case myself with this one…lol

Ok so that is the card for today,  I will be back tomorrow with another, I still have some projects to finish so hopefully I will get those done today so I can show you.

Till nex time…….keep stamping

Good evening world :D

I hope you have had a great weekend.  I have had an AWESOME one.  Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator has many benefits but one that I LOVE is that it allows me access to other demonstrators & demonstrator exclusive websites.   One such site is a Yahoo group that has been created especially & exclusively to Stampin’Up! demonstrators, it is called EDAS-SU (Extra Special Australian Demonstrators – Stampin’ Up!).  Well I am part of this group & we have some wonderful people on there that help with business questions as well as inspiration & project tutorials.

Anyway I decided to organise a cyberstamp for the ladies on this group & we had it this weekend.  The first challenge was set on Thrusday night by a lovely lady named Mel Sharp.  Mel set a colour challenge & the colours she chose were,  Basic Grey, So Saffron & Whisper White, this i s a great colour combo & this is what I came up with

Thursday colour challenge

The stamp set I have used on this card is one that is coming out in the new mini catalogue,  it is gorgeous :)

Mel has a new blog & you will find her lovely work here I’m sure she’d love to hear from you.

Must dash & go to bed, I have ALOT of sleep to catch up on.  I will be back over the next few days with many more creations that I have made over the weekend, also the links to the incredible ladies that helped run the weekend.

Till then……keep smiling & gets lots of sleep :P

Hi there,  this is going to be a super quick post as it is 2am on Saturday & I NEED to go to bed.  So I went to Mingenew on Friday & collected my mail & there was one of those express post bags……yep another surprise from my Secret Sister. Here is what was inside it

ss to me July 09 - card

how cute is this notebook.  I never seem to have enough of these & it will come very much in handy, I think I might end up putting it in the car.

ss to me July 09 - thumping card This card is made using the Thumping technique, it is another gorgeous card & I love the effect the thumping has on the flower. & then I also got this card (I am totally spoilt)

ss to me July 09 - markers on vellum card

This card is a stunning Christmas card.  My Secret Sister stamped the tree & embossed it onto the vellum & then coloured on the back….this is another wonderful technique.

Thank you oh so much Secret Sister,  I love the parcels I receive in the mail  :D

So I am off to bed once I shut down my computer, but I promise I will be back today (Saturday) with some more pics because I have some things I have made over the last couple of days.

Till then…..keep smiling & enjoy your Saturday

TanyaBlogSig

Hiya,  great to see you :)

So today is Wednesday & it is my first day at home ALL by myself for 2 1/2 weeks.  The kids are back at school, Robby is at work (after a busy day at home yesterday with our farm advisor….*sigh*) & I have made Duncan (our workman) a lunchbox…….

Instead of trying to get something stamped & posted today I thought I’d show you the other couple of cards I made on Sunday, similar to the ones I showed you in my last post.

Again these cards are using the colour theme of, Chocolate CHip,  Sage Shadow, Really Rust, More Mustard & a bit of Old Olive.

With this first card I used the stamp set Friends 24-7 (which I am warming to).  I blinged it up with some Clear Rhinestone Brads, I also used one of the YUMMY clips out of the clip assortment.  The sentiment is from the very YUMMY sale-a-bration set called YUMMY which is one set I just can’t pass up.

ESAD-SU Fathers Day Swap CASE2

Now this next card is a little different but still based on the same colours.  Here I have used the brand new (to me) stamp set Circle Circus.  Yet again this is the first time I have used this set.  I have again used some Clear Rhinestone Brads to bling it up.  This time I have used the narrow Choc Chip ribbon & punched the best wishes out of the set short & sweet with the Word Window punch.

ESAD-SU Fathers Day Swap CASE3

and now this is the final card I made

Here I have used the leaves out of the Embrace Life stamp set & used the Dad sentiment from the Greetings Eight set.  Then the buttons i used are from the Buttons Latte…..these are GORGEOUS.

ESAD-SU Fathers Day Swap CASE4

So there you have the last of the brown & green cards now I promise i won’t be posting any more like these  for a little while.  Hopefully I will have something else to show you soon.  I am planning for another Cyberstamp with some other SU demonstrators so I will have some things coming up.  I am heading off to Geraldton tomorrow to go shopping & then sports with the kids on Friday, so life is still a bit busy but hopefully I will have some time to not only stamp but post too.

Till next time……..keep smiling & thanks for calling by.  Chat to you soon

TanyaBlogSig

Hi there  I am glad you dropped by today.  I am sorry (yet again) I have been away.  We have had school holidays here & I just haven’t had the time to post let alone stamp :)

We have had an awesome time over the holidays.  We went to the movies, McDonalds (which is a HUGE treat for the kids), picnicing which was divine.  Apart from that we just stayed home & chilled & it was just wonderful.

Ok so on Sunday we went on a picnic lunch (in between the showers of rain) & I had some cardstock cut up to make some cards so I was lucky enough to make a couple before we went & then another couple after we got home.  I joined in with a card swap with some other demonstrators & it was Father’s Day orientated.  I didn’t really know what I was gonig to make & was going through the stamp sets I have when I thought……..Ooooo the trendy trees set would make a noice card.  & of course I HAD to use the Happy Father’s Day greeting.  Now what is a male based card without some hemp twin & a jumbo eyelet?? So I got to it &  this is the card I made for my swap

ESAD-SU Fathers Day Swap

All supplies Stampin’ Up!

Stamp Set:  Trendy Trees,  Weathered,  Occasional Greetings

Ink:  Sage Shadow, More Mustard, Old Olive, Really Rust, Choc Chip

Markers:  Choc Chip

Cardstock:  Choc Chip,  Really Rust,  Whisper White, Windsor Knot dsp

Accessories:  Choc Chip grosgrain ribbon,  Jumbo Eyelet, Hemp Twine, Paper Piercer & mat pack, Stampin’ Dimensionals

Now, as I said earlier I had a few extra pieces of card cut so I decided to make some other cards,  the supplies for these are pretty much the saem I have just changed the stamps & accessories

This first one I have used the stamp set Boatloads of Love & I have coloured the boat using my aquapainter & re-inkers.  I totally suck with my watercolouring but I am making myself do it so I can get better :)

ESAD-SU Fathers Day Swap CASE

ESAD-SU Fathers Day Swap CASE1

So with this set I used the stamp set Friends 24-7.  I coloured the bird directly on the rubber & stamped it.  I blinged it up with some half pearls out of the Pretties Kit.

This was so easy to make these cards with the left overs from my swaps.  I have a few more too & I will show you those over the next few days.

So till next time…….keep stamping & smiling :)

Hiya everyone,  I hope you are having a wonderful day today.

Well we are nearly half way through our second week of school holidays & the kids are still enjoying themselves.  This lot of holidays has been awesome, it would have to be the first time the kids have just plodded around donig their own thing.  I love the space we have here on the farm both inside & out, I feel that has an incredible influence on the kids & their happiness :)

Ok so you are probably wondering what the title is all about, well I have joined a secret sister group (one that is run for SU demo’s)  i have never been a part of a secret sister swap before & it is all a bit exciting for me.  So the deal is that the swap goes for 3 months & started in July.  So for the each of the first two months I need to make 2 cards & a present & send off to my secret sister & then in the third month 2 cards & a larger gift.  So this is what I send & then in return I am allocated as a secret sister for someone to send the same to me as I have to my ss…….does that make sense?  It  took me a few days to put it all together & even now I am still thinking now when do I need to send something else off?  Or have I sent it & what to make & oh no but I just don’t use that colour…….how hard is it to work with a colour that you don’t like & is your secret sisters favourite  colour…..lol.  Here I am babbling again, sorry I love to chat (hence the blog name hubby came up with…lol)

Ok so the other day I went to collect my mail& the infamous “parcel card”  was in my box……YIPPEE :D

Here is what I received

ss-to-me-july-09A card, giant paperclip bookmark & chocolate bar…..YUM :D

All supplies Stampin’  Up!  (unless stated)

Stamp Set:  One of a Kind (one on the bookmark I can’t find..lol) & Friends 24-7

Cardstock:  tangerine tango,  Very vanilla, Old Olive & Haiku dsp

Ink:  Tangerine Tango,  Old Olive (& maybe Creamy Caramel & More Mustard????)

Accessories:  Old Olive grosgrain ribbon, Tangerine Tango double striped grosgrain ribbon, Kiwi Kiss Double striped grosgrain ribbon,  1 3/8″  & 1 1/4″ circle punches, Scallop Circle punch,  Hemp twine, Crop-a-dile, jumbo paperclip (not SU)

I hope I have all these right,  will go searching for the stamp set that has been used ont he bookmark tho :)

I would love to show you what I have made to send to my Secret Sister, but then she might see it here & see that I am her sister & that would ruin it (that is if she hasn’t worked it our already).  When this is done & dusted I will show you the creations I have made (that I took photos of, I forgot about the first card I made – I was too excited to get it in the mail).

Well that is it for today,  I hope you liked looking at my treat,  I certainly enjoyed receiving it & the chocolate was yummo, thanks Secret Sister (if you look here)

I hope you enjoy the rest of your day & I will be back soon with some more stamping things (& hopefully not so much jabber).  Thanks for stopping by today.

Till next time…….keep smiling :D

Hiya folks, What a wonderful weekend it was.  I could bore you with the details, but have decided not to :)

A little while ago I received a wonderful card from a wonderful lady named Jenny Adams.  I have been meaning to post it here, but it is just another things that has been added to the pile…..& today I decided to post it :)

This card is absolutely gorgeous & Jenny has been very clever to make it

jenny-adams-rak-trifold-card

This is a tri-fold card & I think Jenny may have found the instructions over at Splitcoast Stampers so pop on over there & you should be able to find it if you are interested in making one.  The other thing that came with it is a lovely bookmark

jenny-adams-rak-bookmark This is not being used as yet becuase I just know my kids will decided it is something I can re-make but I don’t want to so it is safely hidden with my precious things that they can’t find….lol :P

Anyway I have things to do today so I will go now & play with my kids, do my washing & the other things mum’s have to do to keep the house running.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I really do appreciate it :)

Have a great day & till next time…………keep smiling :D
