Hi just a quick post,  I hope you are all well.  It is not quite so in our house.  I don’t know what has come of us,  maybe tiredness??!!   The title is one that represents the feeling in my head…..THUMPING constantly,   I need a massage quite desperately :(

I want to show you a page I did recetnly for the Cyberstamp I mention a few posts ago.   The colours are Kiwi Kiss,  Not Quite Navy,  Bashful Blue & Basic Grey.  The DSP is from the Good Morning Sunshine pack, I have used some Styled Silver Hodge Podge & stamped with From the Kitchen Of  Stamp Set aswell as Embrace Life.  Here it is

7-item-scrap-challenge

I can’t linger any longer,  I need to go attend to my darling children & think about some dinner.   Unfortunately there will not by much on here for the next few days due to other commitments & well being of the members of my family, but as soon as I have a chance to create & post I will do so.

Take care & keep stamping

So as the title says I have found the ones that I CASEd from Leah.

I am one of the lasiest stampers I know,  I love the look of techniques, but just never get around to doing something different unless I HAVE to or really really really really want to.  When I saw this card I knew I had to copy it & refresh my memory of emboss resist.   So I didn’t make many changes but this is my card

Happy Sunday to you all,  I hope you are having a nice relaxing day & have something lovely planned for the day.   We are heading off to a little town by the icean called Dongara.  We are taking the kids fishing & catching up with some friend while we are there.  We don’t go down there too often, but it is so lovely & we have an absolute ball.  I just love to go & have a meal cooked for me, even if it is a good old BBQ or Fish ‘n Chips :)

I don’t hink I have shared with you the true excitement I am feeling with all the new things I have to play with.  I did actually order WAY TOO MUCH, but it is just so refreshing to have new things to use.  When I first looked through the catalogue I wasn’t really taken by too many stamp sets, but as I looked more & more jumped out at me & they are the sets that I have heard other demonstrators say they really don’t like……oh what is wrong with me, do I need to visit the doctor?  LOL ;)

Anyway I have been having  a stamp with the set called Cheep Talk, it is such a cuuuuute set.  I am finding it is very versatile & usefull for both male & female cards, not to mention scrapbook pages.  Here is the first card I made the other night with this set.  It is more for a boy, but could also be given to a girl.  I have inked the little birdy up using my Bashful Blue marker & then taken my Not Quite Navy marker & just gone around the outside of the bird to make it look like I have rock & rolled it.  I used my Choc Chip marker for the legs & More Mustard marker for the beak.  The rest of the ingredients are in the recipe that follows.

This is the next card I made.  I’m not totally happy with the greeting,  I think I might need to restamp it & punch it out with the Word Window punch,  I will see.  Anyway here it is

Must dash & think about the things I need to pack for Dongara.  Have  a fantastic day.

This is one of the reasons why i don’t CASE……I forget where I get ideas from.  I feel soooooo like the BIGGEST FOOL in the world.

In my post earlier today I said that I got the inspiration for this card from Leah…….

embrace-life-with-inspired-by-naturewell I went looking for it again & it isn’t on Leahs blog but it is on Nerine’s blog here.  I am so sorry Nerine……& Leah. How much of a dillpickle am I??!!    BUT I DID FIND SOME GREAT INSPIRATION OVER AT LEAH’S BLOG.  Go have a look & see what I mean.

I have been a lurker on both these ladies blogs for a bit & they have some fantastic work :)

So that’s it for me, no posting CASED work unless I can state exactly where it comes from.

I will have some original work up for you to see tomorrow, I’m done on CASE-ing for now.

Have a fantastic Saturday & till nex time………….go give someone a hug, I’m going to (& think of Nerine & Leah while I do, lol)

Another quick post today just to show you some more new cards.  I quickly whipped these up on Wednesday before I went into Geraldton for my Catalogue Launch.

I was having MAJOR inspiration issues on Wednesday, mainly because I had lots to do & not enough time to do it all in, hence stampers block.  Anyway I went blurfing (new word for blog surfing)….I like it  lol!  I found some awesome inspiration over at Leah’s blog

CASEing is something i don’t do too often,  I feel a bit guilty about borrowing some-one else’s ideas & creation…..but sometimes I just have to bite the bullet & DO IT!  & this is one case where I did

I have been back to find the card from Leah’s blog that i am sure I CASED from but I just can’t for the life of me find it,  if I can find it later I will add it here so you can see where the idea came from….enough babble here is my card

As I promised in my last post a couple of new cards.  I can’t say much as I am busy with family things today.  WhenI first saw this set in the US I wasn’t all that keen on it & then when I saw it in our new catty I just had some CRAZY feeling that I HAD to buy it…….and I am SOOOOOO HAPPY I DID.  I love this set & my kids all love it to bits too.

These cards are just fairly simple as this is all I had time for before my catty launch the other night

just-jawing-girljust-jawing-boysWith the second of these I want to make another similar but will add some stars to the eyes as I have seen alot of other people do ( & I think is really quite kewl)

Here is another card using this stamp set & this one I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE.  I have used some of the supernova glitter & I LOVE LOVE LOVE that too……..Oh this new catty is just so inspirational (I was going to say dangerous, but thought inspirational a better&  more accurate description)

just-jawing-glitterMust run, if you would like to know more details, drop me a line & i can fill in any blanks in regards to colours etc….

This is a very tru quote I found & love to read as it is a reminder of how much life depends on love……I think this catty has renewed the love in my heart….ROFLOL!!! :)

Keep love in your heart.

A life without it is like a sunless garden

when the flowers are dead.

Hi there,

I hope you have had a great day today.  My day today has been one of recovery, I had my catalogue launch last night & I was working on projects right up until 4pm yesterday finishing things off.  Yeh I know I should have been better organised, but the thing is that I went down to Mingenew on Tuesday & picked up my new catalogue orders & just had to have a play & do some samples before the night.  Anyway it has been a great day just hanging out with the kids & getting a bit of unpacking done here & there & dealing with food & washing etc…….you know how it all goes :)

OOPS I just realised I haven’t posted since Easter or even on Easter Sunday.  I hope you had a fun day & didn’t eat too much chocolate.  We had a very relaxing day.  Easter Bunny left some fantastic treasure hunt clues in the kids easter stockings & they had a ball finding ALL the eggs he had hidden.  In the afternoon we went down to Dongara to do a spot of fishing & catch up with friends.  It was such a relaxing day,  one to remember well & will be scrapped soon (oooooo with new papers…..)

I haven’t had alot of time to stamp this last week due to school  and mum holidays, so I am going to show you something I made a little while ago.  I love the way it has turned out.  I can’t remember where I found the tutorial for the bag, but it is so super cute & fits cards in it so perfectly.   This bag is so super easy & would make a perfect gift for a teacher, or mum for mother’s day, even just an RAK (random act of kindness),  pop a couple of cards inside & of course a little chocolate.

I’m thinking I probably should have made a tutorial, but now is not the right time to, so maybe later?!  Will see how I go once the kids are back at school.  For now…..do you want to know the measurements?  Of course you do…………here they are:

Cut a piece of cardstock to measure 10″x 12″.

 Along the 10″  side, score at 2″ & 8″.

On the 12″ side score at 5″ & 7″.

To make the tabs, but along the 5″ & 7″ score lines until you hit the 2″ scoreline, do this on both sides.

Adhere the tabs & sides together, decorate with some DSP,  insert some jumbo eyelets & ribbon for the handles & there you have it.

And here is my bag, cards & choc bag

fun-fast-notes-bag-card-notecards-choc-setHere’s a recipe of what I used:

All supplies Stampin’  Up!

Stamp Set:  Fun & Fast Notes, Fresh Cuts

Till next time………….stay happy & stamping

Good morning & Happy Saturday to you :)

I hope you are having a great day,  we are.  It is so nice to know the kids are on holidays & there is no routine for 2 whole weeks…………….YIPPPEEEEEEEEEEE (yep I’m worse than the kids).  This means I can stay in my pj’s for as long as I want & I don’t have to make lunches into lunch boxes & the kdis dont HAVE to get to bed early and all those fun fun fun things.

Anyway this is going to be a quick post.  I just wanted to show you the little gifts I made up for the kids to give to their teachers.  The idea of these came from Keesh….thanks hunny :)
