This is another Syndey creation. The lovely Leonie organised for a few ladies to come & catch up while I was over. Andrea , Jenny , Leonie Newman & Lisa came over on Tuesday & the very talented Lisa put together kits for us all to make. This is what Lisa designed

I’m just so stoked with this card, it is one I’m going to have to CASE!!! I think it’ll look great with all sorts of colour combo’s

Another kit from the cupboard

The other day I showed you some pretty pink trees. Well this card is made from another kit I found in the cupboard. It uses the wonderful retired colour (ooo blast now I’ve lost it), ummmmm…………………….oh that’s right Purely Pomegranate.

Well anyway here’s the card

The original card I made with this kit used colouring on vellum & the effect was lovely & soft & subtle. Because this is how I had originally created the card I stamped this image onto the vellum & then turned it over so the actual stamped side is against the Whisper White cardstock (I hope this makes sense)

I do need to dash, it’s bedtime for me, thanks for stopping by & I’ll have another post up for you in a day or so

Pretty Pink Trees

I just LOVE pink, don’t you?!

I was cleaning out the other day & found some kits that I had left over from a workshop a while ago, so I decied to make the cards up, but used different stamps, this is what I came up with

These cards as sooooo pretty & cute. They are so simple & easy to make, you could make them easy & simple or bling it up with adding some ribbon & brads like I have.

I hope this might have inspired you today.

I told you a litle earlier that I went over to see my lovely friend Leonie. Well she had Lisa & I busy stamping, stamping, stamping

We created this wonderfully lovely super special Collage card

Here’s a close-up of the GORGEOUS butterfly

This is such a lovely card isn’t it. LEonie is such a talented lady & so generous

I love this collage effect & think I’ll have to give it a go one of these days!!!!! Once I am confident with how to do it I’ll give you some more details on how to do it or some samples with the technique. In the mean time go have a look here to see how the technique is done & the effect created.

Well I have some other pics to show you so am going to schedule a few posts as I have a super busy week this week no stamping is going to happen in this house
Lucky I made the most of the time I did have last week, can’t wait to get back into it.

Helping Hudson challenge 7

Just a quick post to get another challenge in from over at Helping Hudson, it’s a sketch challenge this time

Here’s the sketch

I’ve turned the sketch around & changed it a little, but this is what I came up with

I hope it fits the criteria

Supplies I’ve used are

Cardstock: NOt Quite Nave, Whisper White, Urban Oasis dsp

Ink: NOt Quite Navy, Basic Grey

Stamps: Sanded, Thought & Prayers

Accessories: lge Silver brads, Dauber, Wide OVal punch, Grey Taffeta ribbon

Helping Hudson Colour Challenge

Good wonderful Tuesday morning to you !!! It is an overcast cool day here today, the threatening rain has us all on the edge of our seats. The lastlot of rain we had really was lifesaving & if we can get just a little more it will be super duper wonderful

Yesterday I went over to the Helping Hudson site to have a look-see at what they’ve been up to & they have some new challenges up….YAY!!!

There is a colour challenge this week, which is to choose a colour & make a card with it plus 1 neutral. There’s some other challenges up too, why not go have a look, click here to go to Helping Hudson You can use as many shades of that one colour you like, this is what I’ve come up with

I’ve chosen my fave colour …..PINK!!!!….. & I’m quite pleased with how it turned out. Here is a close up of it embossing, ribbon etc…

Supplies I’ve used for this card are

CARDSTOCK: Regal Rose, Pretty in Pink, Whisper White

INK: Versamark, Regal Rose, PRetty in Pink

STAMP: Medallion (LUV THIS!!!), On your Birthday, Sanded

ACCESSORIES: CLear Rhinestone brads, Regal Rose grosgrain ribbon, distressing tool (cutter kit), Daubers

I went on a holiday

At the end of July I went for a little holiday to Sydney. Being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator I have the opportunity to go to the annual convention held by Stampin’ Up! In 2008 I went over to Brisbane for Convention & had the best time……..Since then I haven’t been able to make it becuase we are busy with seeding

This is the time of the year that I organise Unconvention for those of us on a forum called ESAD….well anyway

I was chatting with the lovely Lisa Ryder one day & she said she & Leonie Schroder were talking & wanted to know if I was interested in coming over to their side of Australia to visit with them. After a very short conversation with hubby about it one night when he came home late from seeding I got up the next morning & booked my flights….YAY

Well I wasn’t there long, but it was soooo nice to meet with some ladies I’ve chatted with online for a little while now.

Ok so now I get to the reason for my post……………..while I was away I had a play

Leonie had shown me this Haute tote she made & I really wanted to make one, so she had a kit there for me to make one

& here are the 3 cards that fit in this little bag

I had a real ball making this tote & these cards. iF you are interested you can buy the tutorial here. Well I am sitting here just about asleep, I so need to go to bed. I did have some other pics to show you. but unfortunatl they’ll have to wait

Well the late night was so worth it last night

I woke up this morning to check out the challenges on Helping Hudson I as going to have a go at the sketch challenge & the challenge is actually closed so I scrolled down to check out the winners & guess what…………………..

This card WON!!!! I can’t believe it, so I get to pop this badge on my blog…..how exciting

I”m so stoked!!!! It’s such a boost for the confidence seeing as tho the mojo has been seriously missing in action.

Hi there, I know there is a severe influx of posts from me lately, but I am trying oh so hard to get back into my stamping & it has happened easily today
