Good arvy to you, I hope your day is going splendidly :)

Today I am going to show you a box of cards I have created today.  I thoroughly enjoyed my bit of time I’ve spent in my craft room….the itchy fingers are enjoying the workout ;)

Here it is

In all honesty I think this is the only creation I’ve been totally happy with using Pacific Point…..hmmmm maybe I should try using it a little more, it makes perfect male cards.

Here is one of the cards that’s inside the box

The base for the card is Whisper White & I’ve used some Good Morning Sunshine dsp, then topped it with a piece of Summer Sun cardstock.  I stamped the Loads of Love image onto Water Colour paper with Staz On ink & coloured it using my Aquapainter & ink.  I mounted this onto a piece of Riding Hood Red & then popped that onto the Summer Sun.

The greeting down the bottom of the card is from the set On Your Birthday, stamped in Staz On.

I made 3 cards with the Riding Hood Ribbon with a red ute & then 3 cards using the Pacific POint ribbon with a blue ute.  I also used some Circle & some Star brads…….

I think this well be given to one of my childrens swimming teachers……I’ve got this week & next to organise another 2 gifts……hmmm what will I make, I must get my thinking cap on.

I hope you have enjoyed looking at what I’ve created today & I hope it might have inspired you to use some colours you don’t normally use?? :D

Till next time (which I’m going to schedule now so keep your eyes peeled over the next couple of days)……Keep Smiling :D

Today I’m going to show you a card I case-d from page 67 of the main Idea Book & Catalogue.  I love this stamp set & it is so versatile for either boy or girls cards.

Here is the boy version

and here is a close up of the starry eyes :)

These are 2 cards I did at a Stamp a Stack in Geraldton for a lovely group of ladies.  If you are interested in holding a demonstration or workshop, why not give me a call & we can organise a date to catch up.

Till next time

This is a card I made after making my daughter’s 9th birthday card, the one I showed you on Friday.

I got out some of those Rub-ons I have to have, but just don’t use as much as I should :)

I love this colour combo, I do like it very much so.

Kraft, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Choc Chip ink

Rub-ons, Pink  Pirouette ribbon, Sherbert buttons

How easy is that?!  Very……

Let me know what you think, I’d love to hear from you :)

Till the next edition……keep smiling :)

Hey hey it’s Friday & tomorrow we head back to the farm.  we have been very very relaxed & rested & now we just need to get back into the mode of  ”doing things” .  The kids have had a bit of swimming, shopping, eating, fishing etc… & most importantly they have spent some very special time with their dad, which is something they just don’t get to do while we are at home becuase he works most of the 7 days every week, (I’m not complaining, I know that is part of farm life, but it is just so precious to see them enjoy his company & it is so nice for him to deal with the kids & I can have a “real break” ) :)

While we have been away our 2nd daughter had her birthday.  We are generally away for it, so we usually do something before we go away or after we come home that involves her friends.  While we were away we went out for brekky, ate what she wanted for lunch (which in all honesty I can’t remember what that was….umwah!) & then we went out for tea to one of the local pubs, which is what she wanted to do & where she wanted to go.  She was tickled pink with all her pressies, she loves elephants & collects erasers, so she received elephants on things & some different & special erasers.  Amazing how simple little things like that can make a child smile & how precious that she is content with it…..not upset becuase she didn’t get a DS or Wii or something spectacular like that…..but that’s our Ebony :)

So onto the real reason why I’m here…..a card creation.  This is the card I made for Ebony, it didn’t have an elephant on it, but it was pretty close :)

I just love those Sherbert buttons from the Stampin’ Up! summer mini, must make a mental note to stock up on them before the mini finishes oh & that ribbon is oh so yummy!!!! :D

So the stamp set I used was Pun Fun as well as the Vintage Labels set from the Sale-a-Bration catty…gotta love free stamp sets :)

Cardstock is Kraft & Whisper White

Ink for the hippo, basic grey

Colouring pink pirouette & certainly celery with my aquapainter.

I wanted the hippo to ‘pop’ so I stamped, coloured & cut out, then stamped onto the whipser white base & moutned the coloured hippo with dimensionals….here is a close up of the dimension

this is such an effective way to make something stand out that little bit more…..

So that’s it for now,  I’ll post something else for you to have a squizzy at tomorrow….till then….keep smiling :)

Hi ho so I’m hoping it is Tuesday today :)

Today I am going to show you a couple more creations I made & sent to Nikki  (my secret sister recipient).  This is what I made & sent for November

This is the first card I made……I love it :)
I was so please with the way it turned out, I do love that birdie

This is the second card I made & sent to Nikki.  I used one of the new stamp sets from the Summer Mini, I received this at the Perth Regional Stampin’ Up! meeting.

This is the November gift I made & sent.  It is a liuttle draw with some cards & Kit Kat in it.  I’m not sure if Nikki likes the just jawing stamp set, but she did say it was one she doesn’t have, so these cards will be good for her to display at events.

Here is a close-up of the card.

& here is a little gift I made for each of Nikki’s girls.  A small test tube filled with mini M&M’s……yummo.  I thought I’d personalise these with a name label for each of them too :)

So that’s what i made & sent for November.  I know I’m being quite slack with not making recipes up for these, but if you would like to know what I have use, just pop me an e-mail & I can send you the details.  I will endeavour to start recipes again once the kids go back to school & I have a little more time to blog.

So I’ll see you in a couple of days with some Christmas cards I received in the mail :)
& I’ve got Secret Santa gifts to show you & some lovely gifts I received from my Secret Sister over this last round, so till then…….Put a smile on your dial :D

What does Monday morning bring to you?  To me it is the start of a new & busy week.  But it also brings a fresh start to everything.

Today I am going to show you the birthday card I made for our daughter Maddison.  Maddi turned 7 at the end of August.  This card is very Maddi with it being pink & animals are her favourite, so it went down a treat.

This is it

Hi ho, I hope you had a fantastic weekend.  We did but I won’t bore you with all that information, today it is a short post, it isn’t the quantity that counts, it’st he quality & belive me there is quality here :)

I was lucky enough to receive a wonderful present from my secret sister for the month of August.

August card

This is a card I received early last week & I must admit I love Baja Breeze & this birdie is so “cute”

August gift

Here my secret sister covered a wooden box with some Sweet Always dsp & then made a belly band to go around a tube of shower gel & the darling said she hoped it wouldn’t be too strong for me (I can’t handle strong scents, they make me quite ill) & guess what I can handle it….YIPPEE!!!!!! & some chocies in the scallop circles, I haven’t tried them yet, but I am going to & will let you know what I think.  It is lovely THANKYOU :)

August gift close up

Here is a close up of the chipboard birdie that is the feature on this side of the box unfortunatley I haven’t yet taken a pic of the back, but it has more birds that have been stamped & cut out & adhered to the back of the box……but wait there is still more

August gift - card

& finally here is the card I received & in my favourite colour combo, pink & brown  :)

I can’t belive how lucky I am to have such a generous & wonderful secret sister, the time is getting closer to the reveal :)

So I am off now to do some housework etc…. so I will be back soon with some more eye candy.

Till then, keep smiling :)

Good morning, now I know I said yesterday I would have some scrapbooking, but I thought if I post a photo that I already have in my comp, then at least I will have something to show you.

This is a card I case-d from one I had received earlier in this post.  Mine is much more somple than Claire’s, but I think it still showcases the technique well (& yes I know the pic really isn’t that good, sorry)

Hiay folks,  today I do hope you are having a wonderful day today :)

Today I have a stationery compendium to show you.  It was DD #1′s birthday earlier in the month & becuase of winter sport & seeding etc… we didn’t have the chance to have a “partay” for her then so we had one on Monday.  She knows that I love to give all the kids parties so she knew I would follow thru with my promise :)

Jemma chose to have a craft party for her & her friends & with the kids at a small country school the nummbers really aren’t that big.  There are 4 girls in total in Jemma’s class so we had the other 3 come up here & make some handbags with some lovely  little things in there,  i will show you these a bit later.  Because they were doing craft we didn’t have to have too many “other” traditional games, one she did want tho is a pass the parcel & I was racking my braing as to what to include that wasn’t too costly & too “babyish” so i came up with this stationery compendium.

Hiya & a happy Tuesday to you :D

I am here today with a couple of cards I demo’d at a workshop last week.  They are both using markers but in two different ways.  The first card is using the stamp set Thoughts & Prayers.  With this card we used the markers directly on the rubber of the stamp.  I love being able to do this technique because it can create such an individual effect each time you do it.  Here is the picture

thoughts-prayers-with-markersAll supplies Stampin’ Up!

Stamp Set:  Thoughts & Prayers, Fresh Cuts, Sanded

Ink:  Old olive,  Choc Chip,

Markers:  Old Olive,  Choc Chip, Ruby Red

Cardstock:  Old Olive,  Choc Chip,  Close to Cocoa,  Whisper White,  Ruby Red

Accessories:  Spritzer tool,  Wide Oval, Large Oval & Spiral Punches

This card is so easy & I love how it can be easy & lovely at the same time :)

This next card is made using the Pun Fun stamp set.  With this one we stamped the image with basic black & then coloured the imag with markers.

Stamp Set:  Pun Fun,  Classic Stars jumbo wheel

Ink:  Brocade Blue,  Real Red,  Night of Navy,  Basic Black

Markers:  Brocade Blue,  Real Red,  Only Orange,  Yoyo Yellow,  Night of Navy

Cardstock:  Brocade Blue,  Night of Navy,  Real Red, Whisper White

Accessories:  Crimping tool,  jumbo wheel handle,  Paper piercer & mat pack

This is another easy card but such a FUN kids card :)

I love how we can now bye the markers individually too, Stampin’ Up! really are such a wonderful company to listen to their customers & demonstrators,  we have asked for the markers over the past year & we were rewarded with them in a promotion last year & then we got them into the main Idea Book & Catalogue.  They really do know how important it is to listen & they realise the demonstrators know what the customers want.  If you would like to be part of this wonderful “FAMILY” give me a call & I can fill you in on the details of what being a demonstrator means,  I’d love to hear from you & I’d love to have you in my team :)

I will have another card with colouring up tomorrow…….my FAVE!!!!!!!!!

Till then….keep smiling :)
