I just LOVE pink, don’t you?! :D

I was cleaning out the other day & found some kits that I had left over from a workshop a while ago, so I decied to make the cards up, but used different stamps, this is what I came up with

These cards as sooooo pretty & cute.  They are so simple & easy to make, you could make them easy & simple or bling it up with adding some ribbon & brads like I have.

I hope this might have inspired you today.

While we were away earier in the year, I made these baby cards.  I took the Nursery Necessities stamp set determined to use it while we were away, to be honest I didn’t do as much stamping as I had planned because I read wayyyyy toooo much ….lol  (if you can ever read too much??!), but I wasn’t too fussed about it because i was totally revved up to start stamping when I got home.  Anyway here are a couple of cards that are the same with a little difference :)

Here are the two cards together

A closer shot of the Elephant card

And a closer pic of the Boat.

These were so easy to create becuase I started with the boat & then just duplicated it for the Elephant, but also made a couple of simple changes.

These cards could be used for a 1st birthday or any girly birthday at all really.  Don’t you love the combination of Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette & Whisper White….oh so soft & subtle :)

Thanks for calling by & having a look see.  I’ll be back soon with some more stamping creations

This is a card I made after making my daughter’s 9th birthday card, the one I showed you on Friday.

I got out some of those Rub-ons I have to have, but just don’t use as much as I should :)

I love this colour combo, I do like it very much so.

Kraft, Baja Breeze, Pink Pirouette, Choc Chip ink

Rub-ons, Pink  Pirouette ribbon, Sherbert buttons

How easy is that?!  Very……

Let me know what you think, I’d love to hear from you :)

Till the next edition……keep smiling :)

Hey hey it’s Friday & tomorrow we head back to the farm.  we have been very very relaxed & rested & now we just need to get back into the mode of  ”doing things” .  The kids have had a bit of swimming, shopping, eating, fishing etc… & most importantly they have spent some very special time with their dad, which is something they just don’t get to do while we are at home becuase he works most of the 7 days every week, (I’m not complaining, I know that is part of farm life, but it is just so precious to see them enjoy his company & it is so nice for him to deal with the kids & I can have a “real break” ) :)

While we have been away our 2nd daughter had her birthday.  We are generally away for it, so we usually do something before we go away or after we come home that involves her friends.  While we were away we went out for brekky, ate what she wanted for lunch (which in all honesty I can’t remember what that was….umwah!) & then we went out for tea to one of the local pubs, which is what she wanted to do & where she wanted to go.  She was tickled pink with all her pressies, she loves elephants & collects erasers, so she received elephants on things & some different & special erasers.  Amazing how simple little things like that can make a child smile & how precious that she is content with it…..not upset becuase she didn’t get a DS or Wii or something spectacular like that…..but that’s our Ebony :)

So onto the real reason why I’m here…..a card creation.  This is the card I made for Ebony, it didn’t have an elephant on it, but it was pretty close :)

I just love those Sherbert buttons from the Stampin’ Up! summer mini, must make a mental note to stock up on them before the mini finishes oh & that ribbon is oh so yummy!!!! :D

So the stamp set I used was Pun Fun as well as the Vintage Labels set from the Sale-a-Bration catty…gotta love free stamp sets :)

Cardstock is Kraft & Whisper White

Ink for the hippo, basic grey

Colouring pink pirouette & certainly celery with my aquapainter.

I wanted the hippo to ‘pop’ so I stamped, coloured & cut out, then stamped onto the whipser white base & moutned the coloured hippo with dimensionals….here is a close up of the dimension

this is such an effective way to make something stand out that little bit more…..

So that’s it for now,  I’ll post something else for you to have a squizzy at tomorrow….till then….keep smiling :)

Hello & a good Monday morning to you :)

I hope you had an enjoyable weekend.  It was very quiet & quite uneventful for us.  Saturday we had a bit of a clean up around the house & Sunday I had a workshop in Mullewa so Robby had the kids for the whole day :)

We are heading off to Perth on Friday so we can take the kids to see The Horseman from Snowy River.   I am really looking forward to taking them as we don’t do too much with them when we go to Perth so this will be a HUGE treat ;)

So yesterday I said I had something to show you………..A loyal & very encouraging blog follower  of mine named Lynda  sent me some pics of a card purse she made & I thought I’d share them with you all here.  I love the card purse & cards Lynda has made,  they are using some colours I don’t dare touch but they do look lovely.  So here is what Lynda made :)

Card purse by Lynda

Card 1 for purse by Lynda

Card 2 for purse by Lynda

Card 3 for purse by Lynda

The greeting on the purse is from Echoes of Kindness & the purse is made of Mellow Moss cardstock (both from Stampin’Up!) all other products in the purse are not Stampin’ Up!.

On the cards the stamp set In the Spotlight has been used (last years’ hostess stamp set) & the colours are Bashful Blue, Pink Pirouette,  Almost Amethyst & some Whipser White.  The ribbons are not Stmapin’ Up!

I really do love what Lynda has come up with here & THANK YOU  Lynda for sharing your creation with me :)

Ok so now I have to dash & go catch up on the ironing & do some stamping, so till next time………….stay happy :D

Hi, hello & happy Tuesday

I hope you are having a superb day today.  I would lvoe to talk about the weather, but I think what I have to say about it will make my hubby very very SAD……………(yes it is lovely weather, but shhhhhh don’t tell Robby I said that..lol)

I am not getting a huge amount of stamping done lately, but I am doing some.  I am just at a place where I am happy plodding along, it is just so nice to not be rushing around inthe car, or chasing things up, or doing a heap of cooking.  Everything is in moderation lately & it really is very comfortable, who knows how long it will last but I will definitley enjoy while it is here.  So onto today’s card.

This one I opened the catalogue to page #79 to see if I could case something from there & thought, oh I have opened to a page where I don’t have those stamp sets…..NONE of them on either page 78 or 79 (must make a mental note to point this out to Robby lol ). So what could I make , what do I like on this page???????  Then I spotted the little package up the top on page 79, using kraft, old olive, bashful blue & choc chip…..oooo choc chip & kraft & old olive my favourite faithful colours, I could use those & so I did.

Stamp set:  Animal Crakers (this is a first time use…yippee), small pieces

Ink:  Versamark, Staz On Jet Black, Bashful Blue

Cardstock:  Kraft, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Bashful Blue & Wartercolour Paper

Accessories:  Blender Pen & Stampin’ Pastels, Hemp Twine, Word Window Punch, Stampin’ Dimensionals

I coloured the little giraffe in with my Stampin’ Pastels & it really has turned out quite cute & I must remember to do this more often as I haven’t coloured like this for AGES :)

Well anyway I hope you like my case & maybe you could case something out of the catalogue if you are time short or inspirationless at the moment :)

Enjoy your day & till next time………..keep smiling :)

Good Monday afternoon :)

Today I am going to show you another card I care-d from the catalogue.  This is the first time I have used Flight of the Butterfly.  You can find this stamp set on page 82 & I have case-d the card from page 83.  This stamp set is absolutely GORGEOUS, I do love it & I can see I will be using it more often.  Anyway here is the card

case-from-pg83All supplies Stampin’ Up!

Stamp set:  Flight of the Butterfly

Ink:  Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip

Cardstock:  Chocolate Chip,  Kraft, & Whisper White, Kiwi Kiss

Accessories:  Kiwi Kiss sstriped grosgrain ribbon,  Scallop border punch, Triop flower punch, 1 3/8″ Circle punch,  Clip assortment (pg148), Silver Brad, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Stamp-a-ma-jig

To get the butterfly “spot on” I used the  Stamp-a-ma-jig which I hardly ever use, purely because I’m too lazy (lol) but I have now placed it in a basket on my desk to be used more often :)

I enjoyed making these cards & I hope the recipients enjoy them :)

I am off now to do some more stamping so have a wonderful Monday afternoon & I will catch you tomorrow.

Good Saturday morning, I hope you have a fantastic weekend planned.  We are heading into Geraldton over the weekend at some point for haircuts & Robby has to work for most of the weekend, so we aren’t doing much, but I’m sure it will end up being a lovely weekend.  Enough  blab…….

So I have been caught up on Facebook lately, i discovered farm town & am TOTALLY addicted to it   LOL, so if you haven’t been there, DON’T go there, you will get stuck :)

Anyway I did get some stamping done the other day.  I opened the catty for some inspiration & ended up making a few cards, which was nice.  Here I am going to show you one of  the cards I made & then I’ll show you the others over the next couple of days, so stay tuned.

This first one I only changed the greeting & I am very happy with how lovely & simple it is.  I have case-d it from page 84.

case-from-pg-84This card uses the Scribble stamp set aswell as Best Yet (hostess set).  I have stamped in Pink Pirouette onto Pink Pirouette & then mounted that onto Kraft & then finally onto Chocolate Chip.  I have wrapped some wide Chocolate Chip grosgrain ribbon around the front & then stamped the greeting  in Choc Chip onto Whisper White & mounted it using dimensionals & then added some styled silver hodgepodge to it.

I really am please with this card.  I would love to know what you think about it, or maybe a card out of the catty you have case-d……

I will have some more for you tomorrow.  Till then………….keep smiling :)

Hi there,  this year I am oh so sad because I can’t make it to the Stampin’  Up! Convention.  With the kids & seeding looming up on us I just couldn’t get away.  So I thought instead of sulking about it (really I am sulking a little but trying hard to not show it :( ) why not organise a Cyberstamp for those demonstrators that cant make it to Convention (for whatever reason) & I have.

The plan is to post some challenges on one of the demonstrator forums I am a member of & anyone who has time or is interested can play along.

The first challenge is a card sketch & that I posted on Thursday night.

This is the sketch I came up with

card-sketch-1and these are the 2 cards I created

convention-sketch-1convention-sketch-1-2

This second card doesn’t follow the sketch quite like it should, but that is one of the best things about this craft, things don’t have to be straight, or exact, that is one of the things that makes it all individual.

There are some other fantastic creations there.  I will see if any of the ladies have blogs & let you know the links a bit later.

Ok now for a recipe

Stamp sets:  Live Like you Mean it,  Sincere Salutations, Priceless

Cardstock:  Riding Hood Red, Old Olive,  Pink Pirouette,  Whisper White

Accessories:  Pink Pirouette  & Kiwi Kiss striped grosgrain ribbon,  Clear Rhinestone brads, Paper pierceing tool & mat pack, Cutter kit (distressing tool), stampin’ Sponges, Dimensionals, Aquapainter, wide oval punch

I hope you like my creations.  I have lots more coming over the next couple of days so stay tuned

Till next time………….keep smiling :)

So as the title says I have found the ones that I CASEd from Leah.

I am one of the lasiest stampers I know,  I love the look of techniques, but just never get around to doing something different unless I HAVE to or really really really really want to.  When I saw this card I knew I had to copy it & refresh my memory of emboss resist.   So I didn’t make many changes but this is my card
